A mesmerizing charm.
Subtle, rich and refined, classical Turkish music is a modal music. It was born in the 10th century
and passed down orally until the 19th century. It is rarely heard in France. Created in 1987, this ensemble brings together sixteen of its musicians for the occasion. Most of the instrumentalists (qanun, kamancheh, oud, tanbur, ney, percussions, violin and cello) are renowned soloists. The poems’ lyrics are sung by four female and four male voices. The ensemble is proficient in a vast repertoire which has been enriched by the contributions of music-loving sultans: classical compositions created before the 18th century, or even endangered forms, and more recent works.  It excels at performing instrumental pieces. The maturity of the artists in this group, together with their cohesion, gives their music a unique beauty and a mesmerizing charm.

Büyüleyici bir çekicilik

İnce, zengin ve rafine bir müzik olan klasik Türk müziği makamlı bir müziktir. 5. yüzyılda doğmuş, 19. yüzyıla kadar sözlü aktarım yoluyla gelmiştir. Fransa’da ender olarak dinlenebilir.
1987’de kurulan Topluluk bu konser için 16 müzisyenden oluşuyor. Kanun, kemençe, ud, tanbur, ney, perküsyon, keman ve viyolonsel çalanlar tanınmış sanatçılardır. şiir sözleri dört kadın ve dört erkek tarafından seslendirilmektedir.
Topluluk, müziksever padişahların katkılarıyla zenginleşmiş geniş bir repertuara sahip olmuştur: 18. yüzyıl öncesi klasik kompozisyonlar, kaybolmakta olan biçimler, ve daha yeni eserler. Enstrümantal parçaların yorumunda Topluluk çok başarılıdır. Topluluktaki sanatçıların olgunluğu ve bütünlüğü sayesinde bu müzik büyüleyici ve çekici bir güzellik kazanmaktadır.
