Arkadi Zaides
chorégraphe
Born in the Soviet Union in 1979, Araki Zaïdes moved to Israel at the age of eleven. After training at Ohad Naharin’s Batsheva Dance Company, he left school at the age of 25 to begin his career as a choreographer. A militant artist, Zaïdes sees dance as a means of expression with which to reflect the state of the world and society, and to physically communicate through the body the geopolitical tensions troubling his country.
