Revoir Lascaux
Gaëlle Bourges
When childhood meets the origins of art
If the Lascaux caves exist today, it’s because some kids discovered them. In addition, they had to struggle to be taken seriously. Weird meeting between the origins of art and the youngest ages of life. Choreographer Gaëlle Bourges utilizes bodies on stage accompanied by a brilliant, brisk and funny commentary. This may allow us to see things with fresh eyes and reveal what we normally can’t see about the masterpieces of painting history.
