Meeting of Hearts
MUSICAL DIRECTOR YINON MUALLEM
“Meetings of hearts” is an intercultural musical project inspired by the greatest poems: those written by the most beloved poets in the history of Turkey and Sufism and those written by their Jewish contemporaries; without forgetting those composed by major poets-philosophers from the Spanish Judaic tradition. In this musical journey, forgotten VIIIth century words and Sufi sounds are reinvented in Yinon Muallem’s compositions, mystic melodies with shimmering reflections.
