Coming from a long line of renowned musicians, one could only predict a brilliant future for Rajan and Sajan Mishra. No doubt that Saraswati, the goddess of music, leaned early over the cradle of these two brothers whose unfailing vocal technique and creative power make them the undisputed masters of Northern Indian classical music. Major international venues invite them, their vocal feats have been rewarded with the most prestigious prizes and their recordings are countless. After a 12 year absence, we can only rejoice to see them return to Théâtre de la Ville.
