Ever since I was born: a six-year-old child recalls the first years of his life. It’s never too early to start writing your memoires!
Sami is all of six years old and is going back over his early years, even conjuring up his birth with a few muddled impressions in the back of his mind. David Lescot imagines this tiny human being embarking on life, and with affection and humor candidly describes the wonderment felt as he discovers his world. There is the childcare center, learning to speak and count, plus different events in the family, and Sami has plenty of stories to tell. Sometimes it takes him too long to write things down, but that’s not a problem, as he can burst into song to record his memories of the past.
