HOFESH SHECHTER HAS CREATED AN ODE TO LONDON AND TO ENGLAND, GRASPING THE SOUL AND HEART OF A COUNTRY HE ADMIRES, EVEN WITH ALL HER PARADOXES.

Youth, vitality, finesse are the brilliant assets of the Shechter II dancers who have been selected from some of the very best in the world. Hofesh Shechter has been working with them on a regular basis, revisiting one of his works and showcasing their talents. From England with Love is no postcard image, but his way of giving them a voice in the course of a multi-faceted self-portrait, offering a lucid view of a country that is generous while adhering to traditions, presented with an ever so British musical cocktail where dancers address the quest for identity when up against a system of values with flagrant contradictions that they can mock.
