Crystal Winds
Loup Barrow is one of the few musicians to play the Cristal Baschet, the chromatically tuned instrument invented by two brothers named Baschet in 1953. Glass rods are played with the fingertips to produce acoustic waves which will form an ethereal bond with the bansuri flute played by the young virtuoso named Flute J. A. Jayant who, with great daring, covers an astounding spectrum of sound, following the tala system to mark the beat and the strict rules of Carnatic music.
