MARION LÉVY HAS COME BACK TO SHAKESPEARE AND THE FIRST STIRRINGS OF HER TEENAGE HEART.
What is life like for a boy growing up? Marion Lévy has already played the role of a child Juliette discovering her body, and is now looking at the experience of boys, contemplating the radical changes during the teenage years as seen from the perspective through modern dance and music. Young hip-hop dancer Jonas Dô Hùu plays the role of a 14-year-old boy grappling with the chaos of his body and the emotional turmoil, challenged by love, by the way people look at him, and the expectations of society. Mariette Navarro, the author of the text, has worked with the choreographer on a number of original works, and this time has written a subtle text with a contemporary touch. Beside him on stage is the composer-musician who is also the narrator: text, music and body combine to tell a new tale.
