Jeanne Cherhal established her name in the early 2000s with songs noticed for their daring, humor and depth. As an author, composer, singer, bass guitarist and dedicated pianist, she became a key figure on the French music scene, releasing six albums including Douze fois par an, Histoire de J. and L’an 40. For her latest album (scheduled for release in early 2025) she chose Benjamin Biolay, and with even more freedom than before, has found further resources in this shared venture that has been a source of joyful energy, all-embracing sound and a welcome touch of adventure. After their celebrated duo Brandt Rhapsodie 15 years ago, we can expect the best.
Jeanne is a stage artist and will soon be back touring with a group, after a solo piano tour featuring her favorite film music and that took her from Cannes to Los Angeles.
