SHELLFISH AND CRUSTACEANS… JUST LIKE BEING AT THE BEACH.
Infants will be welcome at the theatre! It’s summer, you’re by the sea. A vacationer is already there, smiling, holding her cooler and her towel. She puts on her bathing cap and suit and dives in. Through her movements, we feel the caress of the waves. Like her, we’re filled with wonder. Oceano is a choreographic, visual and audio ramble in which the beauty and mystery of the ocean floor are the real story. A crocheted set of anemones, jellyfish, algae, squid and fish large and small is like a cuddly toy space in which the dancer plays at being an explorer. Babies are soon invited to join her, coming in and out of the playing space, crawling and touching it…if they feel like it.
