Born in South Korea, Yedam studied piano at Yewon Art School and at the Korea National University of Arts with Eun-Ock Kim and Hae-Jeon Lee. She moved to France at the age of 14, where she studied with Billy Eidi at the CRR of Paris and later at the CNSM of Paris in the classes of Henri Barda and Bruno Rigutto, earning her Master's Degree in 2010. She completed the Postgraduate cycle in 2013 at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg under Jacques Rouvier's guidance, and in 2015, she unanimously obtained her Concert Artist Diploma from the École Normale de Musique de Paris A. Cortot in Henri Barda’s class.
